This advertisement effectively aligns with the creative brief by presenting a family-friendly environment that extends beyond traditional perceptions of books. It aims to capture the dynamic and engaging nature of shared activities, such as families playing board games, while also positioning the space as a place for learning, a social hub for teens, and an inclusive environment—even accommodating unique elements like a bearded dragon.
By emphasizing the lively and sometimes loud nature of board games, the concept challenges the conventional notion that libraries must remain quiet at all times. Instead, it reframes the library as a welcoming, energetic space where noise, interaction, and community engagement are not only accepted
but encouraged.
Ideation
The ideation process to me is always the part I find most enjoyable. I create a long list of ideas, and pick the best three, turn those into tight sketches and then proceed with the most successful one.

We have more than books
The original concept of the board game idea, the one I loved the most, and decided to go with.

Out With The Old
From this reality to the next
A wooden bin outside of the library, containing papers of fees, and dusty old books.
An open book with characters representing fiction, my personal favorite sketch, but did not make into the final.
